Vodacom DOWN certain numbers affected

This is the second time this has happened to me!!!! I haven't had access to the network since 12:30 today. I phone customer care and they said there is a problem with their network where an estimate of 3million numbers are effected. No time has been given for when it will be fixed.

It's quite irritating to not be able to send sms's but the guy right next to phones working just fine!!

PS Will hate to be in that call centre now!

Vodacom - admit your mistakes

I see vodacom are now trying to say only prepaid customers were affected by this outage blah blah:

Come on guys - admit you had a mess on your network on Friday. I just feel annoyed that not only did you annoy the daylights out of me and REALLY inconvenience me on Friday, but you now have the gall to claim that only a limited number of prepaid users were affected! I am on a 24 month talk500 package and I WAS AFFECTED. I demand an apology! I would respect that more than the pig swill Dot Field is attempting to feed me.

Their Voicemail is also stuffed. Instead of a voice I got the sound of a phone ringing from the callers perspective - that noise.
