Vodacom Fibre FUP

Hi quick question, Vodacom is busy installing fibre in my complex and I need to find out if streaming is included or excluded in the FUP policy as the guys in the Vodacom store says it is included in the FUP.

I think the FUP only applies to the uncapped products so I'm assuming streaming is included. I have a capped line with them and after I reach my cap, speed drops to 1/10th the regular speed (40mbps --> 4mbps) which is still ok for SD streams.

Best best is to call the contact center and ask.

Packages have a GB cap as FUP. on the 10/5 you get 300GB FUP, after that you get throttled. Cap increases depending on the speed option you select.

Scroll down to item 76. As far as I know there are no exceptions for specific protocols such as streaming.

Thank you guys, the reason I am asking is I am currently on a Telkom 4mb ADSL line and streaming is excluded from the FUP policy and my concern is if I move over to Vodacom I am going to have issues.

Just called the Vodacom center and his words was, the FUP includes streaming.
