Anybody have any info on this device ? No specs are given. A rebranded what ? They throw in a LTE WiFi router I presume?

I saw now the " Intellybox " gets sold on Takealot. No specs.

Probably not worth a look.

So it is a quad core , 1 GB ram , Android 6.0 box with Miracast.

Under FAQ they explain how to access DstvNow through version 1.40.8 downloaded with the browser. Similar for Netflix.

So another box sold without the necessary certification etc.

If the IntellyBox is left unused and still plugged in, it may auto power off. Simply remove the power cord when this happens and reinsert in order to reboot the device

Oops forgot to switch it off last night. Now let me try find which power cable it is behind the tv. Man, sometimes I miss load shedding.

The IntellyBox has 1GB of RAM has been designed to carry out one command at a time. If you click on several commands the IntellyBox will systematically work through each one and appear to be hanging. Either wait for each command to be executed or simply reboot the IntellyBox

Interesting. BTW this is the only place it mentions the RAM. No other specs are given other than its a quad-core (quad what is anyone's guess) and a few ports. And the site also explains how to side load DSTV and Netflix.
