Vodacom nano SIMs should hit stores this week

What fantastic news!

We can now all rush out and buy a sim card, for a phone that you cannot yet buy in this country.

Vodacom, sort out your priorities. From the backlash your company has been receiving on this forum, getting these sim cards here so early is the least of your worries.

Hi Ecco,

It will help those of us who are importing our iPhone5...

You have NO idea what you are talking about. Vodacom is leading the pack again! They will be ready when the new iPhone 5 launches. I remember that when the new microsims launched, Cell C did not stock them for months. Besides, iPhone 5 are already being sold or imported in South Africa. (I saw a couple on Bid or Buy already). Your judgment is obviously screwed by your bias in Vodacom.

I suppose the glass is always half empty for you ? Why not instead applaud Vodacom's readiness for the iPhone 5.

LOL, look at you guys. With the bs going down at VC, i am surprised you even want a VC sim card.

As i said, they got really bigger things to worry about then having their sim cards here without a phone. If they really were leading the pack their distribution would ensure that as phones land they have the sims in stores. No need to make a song and dance about it.

For the guys importing - how many are we talking? Hundreds of thousands? Doubt it, still doesn't warrant a press article to indicate just how far ahead they are. Vodacom, focus on your pricing and sorting out the basics first!

Can anyone tell me which store has them in stock? I would like to get one for my iphone.

I have received the ones I ordered Thursday. Most of my stores should receive Monday if they have not already.

Thanks for responding :)

Do these include the Durban stores as well? ......I assume you are talking about the Vodacom stores?
