Vodacom number not receiving SMS

still got same problem, VC call center has no idea, no one has any idea.
Does anyone have a solution my huawei nova y60 started
On the 28th of may, my boss' SIM card just stopped receiving SMS messages. We've tried all the things you'd, expect, changing the SMS centre numbers, didn't help,
We did a SIM swap to a new Vodacom sim, didn't help, and we tried other sim cards in his phone, and it receives SMS just fine, and the other phone with his SIM in doesn't get anything
He's called Vodacom custom care multiple times, and they were unable to sort it out, and they did try their best
So does anyone have any idea ? Perhaps some hidden blacklist that has somehow turned into a whitelist?
I know if you dial *111# you can access some settings specific to your SIM, does anyone here know if there's stuff to do with SMS in there? I'd look but he has things to do and can't wait for me to find something so I thought I'd ask here.

need to call your network customer care... they would be able to check what services you have loaded/active on your HLR
On Vodacom I think it is called SMO...sms mobile originating. It is activated on all numbers as standard except perhaps certain home internet contracts etc. So this should not be the cause of the issue. Perhaps request a network sync and reboot device after.
 
My new Apple phone is not receiving bank OTP SMS from overseas bank, anyone have a fix for this?

Hi. I dont have access to the system where individual accounts are hosted. I suggest you call 082135. Ask them to check that SMO (SMS Mobile Originating) service is provisioned. If that fails, try visiting a Vodacom outlet.
 
I have a huge problem with my Vodacom SIM card I can't receive any SMS can someone help me out
