Vodacom off the net?

Saturday am, 08:30 - I'm unable to even ping any of vodacom's sites (pop3.vodamail.co.za, www.vodacom4me.co.za, www.vodacom.co.za). (MTN's sites respond). Anyone else seeing this?

Can ping and browse them from Cape Town.

Where are you, (Durban, if I remember correctly?)

No problem with vodacom.co.za/v4me.co.za from Pretoria via ADSL.

Correction: The sites are working fine. There was just a bracket in v3gout's link.

Might have been maintenance at that time.

Since the advent of the data cards we had to move the support activities into the early hours as the network only start slowing down around 1am. It pick up around 6am again, so 3am seems bang in the middle.

Still does that here by me. ADSL in CT.

Tried on Opera, Mozilla and good old IE, so its not a browser issue...

down in knysna to. cant ping pop3.vodamail.co.za, I cant even connect to read my e-mail. the server times out.

Yeah, their outgoing mail server is down - Very inconvenient

I don't think the servers are down, I think they have DNS/Routing problems
