I have just received the following SMS on my 3G card.

You have successfully unsubscribed from the Vodacom email service. For more information, visit www.vodacom.co.za

I requested nothing. Vodacom.co.za also does not shed any light on this.

My SMTP still works. I do not use the Vodacom POP, so I can't check it.

Any ideas?

Sounds like their system went a bit loco. :rolleyes: What can I say? It's Vodacom after all. Have you called customer care yet?
 
If you don't have an @vodacom.co.za email address or account that you use then don't worry about it, you should always be able to access the SMTP server.

If you PM me your mobile number I can have it checked out.
 
If you don't have an @vodacom.co.za email address or account that you use then don't worry about it, you should always be able to access the SMTP server.
@vodamail.co.za :p, AFAIK only Vodacom employees get an @vodacom.co.za email address :).
