Doubtful though, I think that is what "quality assessment" means.

Yeh, even refurbished I'll be happy, the handset I gave them had a small chip when I dropped it a while ago.

My reason for asking is I received a similar sms, my note 3 burnt while charging and I am wondering if they gave me a refurbished phone. My warranty was expiring in about 2 weeks either way I am very happy

Oh ffs back to that useless place again for some reason.

Yea I think getting it back through the curtain from dirt town is the main issue.

Called Vodadontcare Rustenburg as stated earlier: It will be there Monday.
Called Vodacom Number from website: It has been at Rustenburg since Wednesday.
Called 4u shop I took it to, they called me back later, Rustenburg giving them bull**** stories about it not having arrived there yet.


@Vodacom Reps, time you send someone to this rustenburg place to kick the manager in the nuts.

So got the phone back.

Not a new phone as the vodacom number and the cellphone store told me it was last week.

Not an exchanged phone either. It's the exact phone I sent in for repair.

I'll check it out when I get home.
Did not bring the battery and cover with today so no way to test it in store.

Anyway, a happy result it would seem

She has only been using it since around 9pm last night as I fully charged the battery then wiped the phone before inserting her sd and sim card.

Seems she is happy to have it back and it looks like it's motoring again
