Vodacom reveals BlackBerry Q10 launch prices

simply retarded, I mean... Who are they kidding!? Im not sure which I find more amusing, their cash price or their contract deal

IF you can even call it a deal...
 
Was considering this phone but at those prices, ha ah! Hopefully Cell C will have better deals. Also, I would have expect this phone to be cheaper than the S4.
 
i thought it will be priced around R 5000 / R6000 as the Z10 sells for R6500 more or less.
Cash and Contract pricing is insane esp for this phone.
Q10 not getting a good start from Vodacom.
 
With Android/Ios who would want this anyways? Can get better Android/ios devices with more data for cheaper.
 
I hate their new Smart packages. That has to be the worst combination of voice and data (I dont care about SMS) for the price. The previous packages were better. Why change them? As for the phone, after a BB9900 I will not be going back to BB for a very long time.
 
Woahhhhh! The S4 is R7000 and LTE S4 is R8000 from Vodacom how can this phone be R9000?
Keypads are expensive these days!
 
Seriously Vodacom? Who will go for these prices? I prefer a phone with physical keyboard and was keen on this phone ... but the prices are totally crazy. IC wants R8000 for it. I am totally shocked to see how stupid BlackBerry is going about saving themselves with these prices. What on earth will make a person pay this for a BB (with BB10 as a totally unknown OS) when the same price can get you an iPhone, S4, HTC One or Xperia Z with mature OS's and ecosystems and all the apps you can ever want?

BlackBerry, YOU committed suicide. Long time fans of the brand, like me, can do nothing to help save you when you come to market with such prices. We can just shake our heads and throw earth on the casket.

I read the other day that BlackBerry makes as much on the sale of 1 Z10 as Nokia does on 3 Lumia 920's...
