Vodacom setup of Airtime Transfer op Topup contract - help needed

Hi,

For some reason I cannot transfer my airtime from my Topup SIM to my prepaid SIM. I currently have both SIM cards in my phone (one as my voice calls SIM, another for data) but I would like to streamline it by only having my voice SIM in and then transferring the monthly allocation of airtime from my Data SIM to it.

If I try and go through the *111# option 9 menu, I get the following:

The service must be active before you can transfer airtime. Please call your Service Provider to activate or 111 for more info

Phoning 111 doesn't get me anywhere as the option for "Balances and airtime transfer" only gives me an option to listen to my balance and not anything to do with enabling Airtime Transfer. The IVR then goes in a loop

Anyone on here able to assist me by any chance or do I need to go in to a VC shop to get this sorted?

Remember that you can only transfer airtime that you put on your number. You can't transfer airtime that forms part of a contract (topup included). Vodacon will also only allow you to transfer 80% of added airtime (the last time I remember, been a while)

I thought as much; their T&C's are a bit vague on the topic but I didn't really wade through the fine print before posting here.

It's just odd that their IVR isn't set up correctly with no way of speaking to someone with regards to Airtime Transfer.
