Am I right in saying that the uChoose contracts allow you to topup as apposed to the normal Smart contracts? If so why do they make you pay more for it?
AFAIK, you're correct. Pay more for flexibility

I'm due for upgrade and am currently on uChoose Smart S on my Note 3. Only took this because I got a good trade in on my old One X. Compared to MTN and Telkom VC doesn't have very good offerings. How do you guys get around the lack of data? I pay R380 + R149 1 gig every month.

I see the LG G4 for R420 on Flexi200 but that equates to just 100mb right? Waiting for the new offers tomorrow but I'm sure there'll little to nothing good there...

Flexi 200 will just give you R200 airtime

You sure? So then I could buy a 1 gig bundle for R149 using the same airtime? I know MTN and Cell C don't allow that.

I've been doing it on the TopUp 140 and I'm pretty sure I have on the Flexi 100 we have...

The new cataloge comes out tomorrow. But the Priv is not a very good phone and it will probably be steeply priced.

Oh. I`m not sure about your "not a very good phone" comment? I have been doing research for some time now and what about the article "BlackBerry PRIV review: the best Android smartphone of the year"?

That's not my opinion really I can only go on the three reviews I saw. The Verge, Android Authority and Pocket Now.

Ok. I went through a few hundred reviews I think since word of the Priv came out last year and it were released as the Blackberry Venice at first. In any event I were just wondering when Vodacom will have it so I can do my upgrade.

As long as you've done your research then you'll be alright. I'm sure it'll be out tomorrow I think it's already out on MTN.

I think they all bluffing. They advertise it as being available and others say coming soon and when you call they say the supplier did not deliver to their warehouse yet. And why would supplier supply one provider first and not the other?

It seems that I will have to port over to MTN after all these years.
