Just got my highest score ever on speed.vodacom 2455/340 Yeeehaaaaaa!!! This is starting to feel like a game...still haven't beaten the high score yet

Only thing is consistancy...most runs get under 1.8Mbps. CPT on speedtest.net has never topped 1.2Mbps

Which APN? Your current IP?

At least you can show ginggs the 1908 to JHB as prove that you must be in a 3.6 cell! :)

Was internet APN. Did not make a note of the IP.

ginggs: :D

After the back and forth in the MTN speed thread I was also thinking that multiple threaded downloads would probably be a better way to go hunting for those 7.2 MTN towers (as per rpm's VC 7.2 tests), but I would have to do that at OOB rates on my phone sim so they can go jump :p

Maybe run a few tests.

We're busy upgrading the speed test server, although I can't think it would give false results.

Are we sure this card cannot do 3.6? I'll ask.

You're still not beating the 3.1Mb/s I got in Bellville :D, but I think this is the second highest speed posted so far.

And with an embedded device nogal!
