Vodacom South Africa says it will soon launch a pilot with Eskom to source all its electricity from renewable independent power producers.

How? Where are they going to find independent suppliers in the Eastern Half of the Eastern Cape? I'd love to sell to them but... *cough* I'm not allowed to.
That said, for each tower they can surely build a mini plant... but protecting it from thieves is going to be fun.
