Vodacom uncapped fibre-to-the-home price plans launched

Vodacom has launched new uncapped fibre-to-the-home packages on third-party networks.
Mmmm, not bad, now how about the shaping Kevin? Ask them...

For example, Afrihost 10mbps is R799 for home fibre (same as the VC price), R999 for premium fibre and R1299 for business fibre, I will happily pay R1299 for less shaping, but if VC has no shaping, I'd rather pay R799 for that...

“When the FUP limit is reached, the line speed is reduced to 2Mbps for the remainder of the month,” said Vodacom.
I feel for the guy who takes the 100Mbps option... a 98Mbps drop :D

2.2TB on a 100mbp line ? :crylaugh: If you're pay almost 2K a month for internet the FUP should definitely be more lenient. I'm doing roughly 900GB/Mo on my shyte 6mb ADSL.

So R799 for 20Mb uncapped with 500GB limit on Vumatel, or Crystal Web for R680 and no limit, Vodacom can get stuffed.
