Hi there. I upgraded from Smart S to Top up 2G on 13 Sept 2016. This was done online on the Vodacom portal. I was told it would activate on 01 Oct 2016. I also decided to change to a 1 year contract from R109/month to R149/month. This I was told would happen on 01 Nov 2016. In 2016 I had LTE almost continually both on my Vodacom and Afrihost SIM (Dual SIM Xaiomi Redmi Note 2).
I notice this year the Afrihost SIM is LTE but not the Vodacom SIM.
Vodacom have been unhelpful regarding my contract upgrade. They don't seem to know if I have upgraded. It seems as though online, telephonic and in-store upgraded are unaware of one anothers customers. I have not even tried to address the LTE issue yet.
I am unhappy and want to cancel my contract with Vodacom. Their customer support is shocking.
Does anyone have suggestions?
