I have a Talk 120 Vodacom contract and I'm almost due for an upgrade. I would like to get the HTC TyTN II as an upgrade phone, but need to pay in R2699. Are there any Vodacom SP's that allow you to pay off the R2699 over the lenght of your 24month contract? I dont have that much cash lying around to pay it once off and dont want to use my credit card.

Haven't seen any ads anywhere to that effect, unfortunately.

Shouldn't you just opt for one of the more expensive contracts?
They cost more per month, but have less (or no) pay in.

Certain Vodashops have a policy that allows you to pay in seperately through ABSA.... dont know much about it.
What area are you in? Try some of stores in your area.

Use the budget facility on your CC. You'll pay more in the end, but if you really just "need" it ...

Do you stay within your bundle minutes on your contract, or do you pay in extra as well. Tell them you won't pay R2699, they must check for a discount. They will then evaluate your total contract, and see if your spend justifies a discount. I did this with my wife's contract. They wanted R1499 for the N95 and she got it free in the end (but that is a Talk 1000 contract). Same principal applies though

Talk120 doesnt exist anymore its Talk130 10 minutes free no extra charge!:)

You have to spend quite a bit IIR if you want a discount.

A friend of mine got a Tytn II from I-Talk on a Procall 120 (MTN) contract. He's paying R100 extra per month over and above the normal subscription. So if you upgrade after 20 months, it works out to R2000 extra, otherwise R2400 if you upgrade after the full 24 months.
