I have been trying to find a Vodacom outlet in PE who has the Smart 6 released on 1 June. Their Greenacres Bridge Store didn't know what I was talking about, neither did their Moffett on Main Store. I tried Cellucity Walmer Park and had to send them a link as they had also not heard of it. It would appear that they will only stock to order and then i have to buy it before they take it out of the box.
How do they do business.

That looks very good! I am sure it will launch here in a few weeks - the more units parent Vodafone can sell the better their ROI will be so why not push it through Vodacom?

Looking very good. Any guesses on pricing. Rough exchange rate conversion puts the 110 euro at R1500 per taxes and duties

I think they will charge between 1500 - 1800.This device will compete with the Mtn Steppa 2 Lte,which has similar specs and costs 1500.

Yea it looks like they are trying to get rid of the smart 4 stock and this smart prime 6 will be released soon.

That was the link Vodacom replied with when I tweeted them to ask ETA on the prime 6. When I corrected them they went quiet.

I think your theory is correct
