VoIP over LTE. Airmobile and Telkom LTE

Does VoIP work over Telkom LTE and afrihost Airmobile networks? Meaning do they block VoIP traffic etc….

Sometimes fibre fails and would like to setup a failover with either of the above-mentioned in a 4g device.

Would there be a need to change any APN settings?

Both options will work, but the APN will depend on who you buy the SIM/data from. Failover in theory is very different from real-world implementation and is almost impossible with consumer-grade products it with require a physical reboot. Seamless failover can be achieved, but the limitation will be your registration timeout.

Thank you for the response. The gateway is already setup for dual WAN.

So let’s go with Telkom for example? Which APN to use?
