Voltage on a V8

My Range Rover 3.5 V8 has been giving me a lot of trouble lately. I took a multimeter to it the other day and discovered the fuel injectors for the four cylinders on the left side of the engine were receiving say 1.5 volts. The right side injectors were receving 0.05 volts and those four cylinders happen to be 90% dead. Any ideas on what it could be?

Replace the ECU, or fix it if you can. Maybe a loose connection.
Check the voltage at the output of the ECU to see if it is the connection or the ECU.
