The aim of this study is to describe and compare the physical health and mental performance
of competitive adult computer gamers to non-gamers.

Computer gamers residing in Cape Town who are aged 18 to 30 years may participate.

Criteria for gamers are:
1. You must play games competitively (i.e. tournaments, seasonal leagues, or ranked matchmaking)
2. You must play games at least 14h per week
3. You must have at least 5 years exposure to gaming
4. You must not have taken any medication affecting sleep in the last 3 months (e.g. Ritalin, Concerta, cannabis or sleeping pills)

What is involved?
`1. Complete a few questionnaires about your health and gaming history
2. Have your height, weight, waist and blood pressure measured
3. Donate 10 ml of blood to assess your risk for heart disease or diabetes
4. Perform 3 computerized tests to assess your brain function
5. Wear a small sleep monitor on your wrist for 7 days
