Vox Fibre feedback wanted.

I've just had fibre installed in my area by octotel and I want to get anyone's feedback on how they are. What was the installation process like, how are they as ISP specifically with gaming and streaming, what is their phone like? My family still use the telephone so their vox supafone is looking really appealing.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I'm with Vox Fibre 100/25 on Octotel.No VOIP.

They were pretty slow with installation,but that was also partly due to the fact that it was just after they finished the area and there was a long queue for installations.Also there was a freeze period for the December Holidays.Had to stay on their case to get everything sorted.

Once the installation was done everything has been going great.Maybe had downtime twice in the past 6 months, but nothing really to complain about.

Thanks for the reply. Does vox manage your line? Like when your line breaks do you have to go through octotel or vox? Whats vox's and or octotels support like? You haven't experienced any shaping or throttling or anything from vox? Would you mind doing a speedtest for me and posting it here? What was vox's support/updates like during the order/installation process?

Sorry man I got a ton of questions.

1. Vox manages the line on behalf of Octotel.

2. With Octotel you always have to go through the ISP when you have an issue with your Fibre.(I think it's like that with all ISPs on Octotel)

3. You can't contact Octotel for support (due to line managing).Haven't really had to deal with Vox support.

4. Haven't noticed shaping or throttling on the protocols that I use.

5. Like I mentioned previously,I had issues with installation,but it was just as the fibre went live.After Octotel did the line,Vox was a bit slow with setting up account and router,but I went to their offices in town and that sped the process us quickly.
