Hi everyone! So I want to ask which fibre isp to go with.
Recently Openserve went live in our estate, and I want to place and order for fibre. The budget is R1500 p/m - so I looked at some prices. Vox is R1500 for 100/50 Mbps and Cool Ideas is also R1500, but for 40/20 Mbps.

We are a family of 4 - do mostly streaming via Kodi, some Xbox game downloads, lots of Youtube. Which would be better?

I started out on Cool Ideas and moved to VOX for the sake of gaining some perspective.

I've been on VOX for less than a month and have asked for my line and account to be transferred back to Cool Ideas. 200/200 uncapped.

General performance just seemed a lot better on Cool Ideas.

The guys above are right, NEVER VOX, I am struggling to cancel my Vox service which only lasted 13 days, I have signed up with Cool Ideas but Vox won't release the line to Cool Ideas now. Read my painful experience just a few tread down from yours.

Oh boy, this is going to be fun.

I already signed up for Vox when our Fibre goes live shortly...

Thank you everyone! CISP it is then.
It's just the price that's a bit steep - but I guess you pay for quality! Hope they drop the prices in the near future :)

Yeah, I paid R1300 for 200/200 VOX/Fibrehoods and R1500 for 200/200 CISP/Fibrehoods...

R1500 for 200/200 when transit costs alone are more than that seems like a good deal.

If only Vuma was available! Only Openserve infrastructure available. R1800 p/m for 100/50Mbps or R1500 for 40/20Mbps on Openserve.

I signed up for Vox but after hearing on the forum I cancelled the order and went with Cool ideas! Best decision ever! Speeds have been amazing, the service delivery was phenomenal, got the router so quickly and it was working in no time, go with Cool Ideas bro!
