Vox upgraded my bandwidth from 4M to 10M

I have seem same package for same price for 24 monthes, but mine is month to month

Is the fibre provider Openserve, if so they have done away with the 4/2 mb fibre lines and have upgraded them to 10/5 mb. My understanding is that a few isp's did this from around November already but would only charge the new 10mb rates from Jan 2019

Did you pay the same as the 4Mbps line? It seems that Vumatel is going to be abandoning their 4Mbps lines from 1 March 2019. I phoned their call centre but they are clueless. Their Twitter account was vague and told me to contact my ISP.

who is your ISP? still same amount to pay.

Where did you hear that they are dropping the 4Mb lines? Any links?

No links. But Vumatel is upgrading all 4/1 links over the next few weeks and dropping 4/1 as of 1 March 2019
Awesome news. I assume they were forced to do it seeing as most of their major competitors now have 10Mb entry level packages, from what I can see

Yup, I think it was more reactionary than industry leading this time. But it's a great move for consumers nonetheless... Looks like the definition of broadband might soon hit 10 Mbps in South Africa. Finally.
