You will need to provide more info:
- What kind of VPN (IPSEC, PPTP)?
- Have you looked at the port forwarding on the DG834?
- Have you tried the VPN via dialup to make sure gateway side issues are OK?

Can't say that I will be able to help, but I also have unresolved VPN issues with DG834, although that may be on the VPN gateway side...

Hi and thanks for your reply.

I am just using PPTP. I even tried PPTP Ping and it seems that i can send a ping request to the computer, but the computer never picks up the ping ....

I have look at more or less everything in the settings. I used the services to forward ports 47 and 1753 but that did not work... i then decided to forward all ports... that did not work and i also set up the server as the DMZ server, but that did not work.

I am really at a dead end...

When you say it could be a gateway issue, what could be wrong or what should i check.. thanks ?
