It would have raised more than a few eyebrows had the principal not distanced the school from this group. Media reports on anything that'll likely generate traffic.
Well, pupils at the school also did this, but here on the forums that gets fobbed off as: Shame, they're only children!

Should know a bit better with being in high school and having a big German heritage in that dorp. Or it's a convenient excuse!

This...

Nazi symbolism isn't German culture. The fact that they appropriated a few germanic symbols means nothing.

Who got arrested?

The point to hate speech is that you dehumanize another group or person to incite violence against them - both sides of the political spectrum are doing this because Nazi's evoke a lot of emotion, with Hitler being the world's biggest bad guy next to Satan.

they arrested a veteran for reposting a meme and said it was because the post "caused anxiety"... (everything causes anxiety for some these days)

even though the person that originally posted the meme was recording the incident was left alone at the scene.

the meme is ironic because any view against the movement is not tolerated, just like the nazis. those in the movement are campaigning for freedom of expression against the norm, but not allowing others their own expression against it. like fascist nazis.
