When back home I was driving once after picking my kids up from school.
Looked over to my left at the traffic lights and saw a tappet in a little Toyota bakkie...with the old SA flag on his dashboard.

I just looked at it and at him and shook my head.

He went batshit...rubbing his arm and giving me thumbs-ups as if to say look..."White...good...proud."

I've never been so embarrassed in my life...until my 11yo daughter flipped him the middle finger.

He nearly made an accident while we laughed all the way home.

I fully agree that these are idiots and they are not doing the Roman salute as they claim they are.

This however does not mean we have to ban these symbols, because where do we stop?

I absolutely HATE the "new" South African flag.
To me it represents crime, corruption, 60+ murders a day, 100's of rapes everyday, racism, incompetence, human rights abuses etc.
I'm certainly not the only person in this country feeling like this, so should we have this ugly flag banned?

My question to them would be "Why?" for Oom Verwoerd, but I would understand Oom Eugene...

Even if I'm not OK with any of the two, I don't get to ban or prevent them from doing it, even if I get triggered to the max!

I don't. I'm not a Verwoerd fan. And as for Eugene - He had great speeches but couldn't implement fokol.
