Anyone else without Fibre in Zone 4? Power came on at 0422, I plugged everything back in, router flashing like normal, even after a 2nd reboot.

And nothing. I started work 2 hours early to compensate for loadshedding and now still have to blerry work time in again.

That's if this VUMA kukk ever comes on again.

On the router and 1 click diagnosis shows PPPoE dialed up failed.

I suggest you get a UPS or some backup power like a Gizuu. I have a Gizuu constantly plugged into my power outlet, with the ont plugged into the Gizuu. When power goes out, ont stays on, internet continues without disruption.

Can finally use Tapatalk again. 2 hours! That's 4 hours of my life I'm losing because of VUMAtel.

I just can't do this anymore.

Fscker just came back online. @AfriNatic you have a pm with regards to a migration to Openserve
migrating has nothing to do with Afrihost, just place a new order with Openserve. VR is pre paid so no credit is caried over and you just need to cancel it before your next billing date when OS is installed and active

Ja, ok I just found out that I couldn't order OS ahead of time, while still keeping my VR active.

So have to still sit around and pray that I don't get ass ****ed and now stage 4 is also coming into play.

OK, Afrinatic was yet again very helpful and we've got the pre order in for OS.

I just hope it kind of tilts over the demand and gets our rollout happening quicker.

Those buggers from OS haven't even been back in my place for testing yet.
But who knows, maybe they don't need to enter the property and just do their testing elsewhere.

Bayview yes, but like the whole of Stranfontein, it's still just pre order.

So get your pre order in, its shows interest and we all get to Live status hopefully quicker.

I'm on a wing and a prayer, not knowing how long it'll take OS to roll out. Even though I have the OS fibre box in my yard, its a bit of a tennis match, with the ball being in their court.

It's out of Afrihost's hands now.
But the more people start pre ordering, hopefully the quicker we'll get OS to start going Live.
