My line experience DCs today at 02h30, 03h40, 04h30, 05h20 & 05h40 - @AfriNatic I can't believe this has been ongoing for a month now, are your network engineers seriously incapable of resolving this?

hey, Afrinatic, i hope you are taking time out for yourself, the last few weeks have been rough, take care and as always we appreciate you and all your sterling work under most trying conditions.Morning,
On Wednesday the 3rd of Nocember between 1am and 3am we applied a permanent fix that we hoped would have resolved the issue. The rollout went as expected however it had an adverse effect on a large number of other clients and by 11am we rolled back the changes made.
We are exploring other options like hardware changes now. We keeping a close eye on CPT and if we spot issues we tackle them immediately.
Apologies for the ongoing issues experienced.

Hi
Fibre in Die Boord, Stellenbosch went down in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Since it came back yesterday afternoon the performance has been terrible.
I've opened tickets via the ClientZone and shared screenshots, etc. as well as chatted to Afrihost via WhatsApp.
Vumatel says the ticket that you opened ISP-587751 has been sent back as they found no fault on the line.
I was then told, via email from Afrihost, to try the same speed tests (fast.com / speedtest.net) while connected directly to the ONT - performance is excellent.
So something changed somewhere during the outage, that when connected via the router you provided (D-Link DIR-825) the performance is terrible.
There seems to be some sort of routing/DNS issue - as some websites just do not load. SpeedTest.net takes *forever* to find an "optimal" server, etc.
