Frustratingly. yes.Anybody else go down for about 10min on Afrihost?
@AfriNatic please investigate just had another drop, it's back up again
I logged into the ONT/Router and it had in red abnormal network on the homepage after logging in, rebooted the device and nothing changed. Left it and it came right a few mins laterNot seeing any drops or issues on our network currently.
When you say equipment coming online, you referring to vumareach equipment?LOS light flashing is a physical network problem (not an Afrihost issue), I had it too when the power came back on. Its clearly related to loadshedding and equipment that failed to come online
Yup the stuff in the road (pavement), It normally doesnt happen and I though **** I hope the equipment didnt get damaged with the more regular power cutsWhen you say equipment coming online, you referring to vumareach equipment?
Vodas assets* not network. So im assuming transit and backhaul etcInteresting, says vumas fibre network will be merged with vodas. I wonder how this will work.
Lets see where this leadsVodas assets* not network. So im assuming transit and backhaul etc
FTTH and FTTB. Maybe we'll finally get core speeds. Don't see Reach surviving if Voda gets full control though.Vodas assets* not network. So im assuming transit and backhaul etc
At this stage it is co-control and I don't see VR being under threat as this product is although we don't want to accept pioneering, the segment that the product services, the majority of this segment will not pay core prices, emphasis on majority. This product is build from the ground up for this segment and that is why they used the median data of the areas.FTTH and FTTB. Maybe we'll finally get core speeds. Thats why I like openserves model more, for those that cannot pay normal prices theres the prepaid cheap option. For those that want faster speeds you can get it, all on the same network. I get that, I just don't trust Vodacom. At this stage it is co-control and I don't see VR being under threat as this product is although we don't want to accept pioneering, the segment that the product services, the majority of this segment will not pay core prices, emphasis on majority. Neither do I, but the VR model can not be changed easily because the 1 the group that it services and the hardware it utilises are big factors in this.I get that, I just don't trust Vodacom.
