Hey Nikkel, in the beginning it was flawless for the most part, now that more people are onboard I feel like we being rationed. This is specially true for peak times, noon and from 7pm at night.

This is so synonymous with adsl days where contention ratio's were sky high. Even game routing is not that efficient, when playing B06 and connecting to the Cape Town server traffic are still routed to JHB then back.

The service is not the same as it used to be and I feel like we just another number keeping shareholders happy, no speed increases, constant buffering when streaming, and not to mention the ageing 10mbs limit upstream on the 40mbs package.

This product as a whole is not ageing very well.

im on afrihost vumareach and even my 100mb line has been iffy almost everynight. Eventually the service will be so bad 5G would have to come back into question again.

Anyone else see a r50 reduction on their 100/50? Afrihost.

nvm
i see the reduction, hell probably frozen over as well

when are we getting speed upgrades?

Hi.

Yes, there has been a decrease in the 100/50 package and all VR prepaid packages. There is no speed increase for Vuma Reach.

So anybody having issues? I'm connected, but it's so slow that Its literally unusable
I had issues the past 2 weeks and apparently its a cable break. I have been needing to use a VPN for my IPTV. work wasnt bad but Zoom/Team calls did drop every now and then

Is there Vuma maintenance or backhaul problems currently in MitchellsPlain? Seeing 15-20% PL on 1st hop on x3 VR links with Afrihost in the same area.

Had this issue on 3 seperate circuits from 9am to 10am, since then we're good in the hood.

It has to be logged with Vuma for reprovisioning

The internet has just been absolutely rubbish these last few weeks/months... I'm so over this now. I don't know if it's a Vuma issue of an Afrihost issue, either way, it's not been good

Things got very slow about 30mins ago, sitting right next to my router but Youtube/Twitch/Discord not loading up at all. Whatsapp and this site loaded up normally but everything else seems broke. In the Lentegeur area if that helps any
