Besides a couple of disconnects here and there I can't complain one bit... Full line speed 24/7 and local pings are constant at 2ms to 3ms EU servers between 100ms to 150ms... With Afrihost Pure Fibre
blah blah blah lol

MF updated the zone 6 situation on their facebook page. Seems the network is getting a grade. Won't hold my breath for a speed upgrade though.

By my calculations they are now in week 7 of the process in Strandfontein and I see they are still patching up some pavements and laying cables in areas where there is no grass and no pavement. Anyway...

Thanks! was over thinking it

@Nikkel - disabling wifi (WLAN) did not do the trick, I am still stuck with the same options...sigh

Quick one, can you confirm that your ONT's model is EG8245H5 with software version V5R019C00S105.

I cannot even download the config from the router nor see any "admin" like setting.

This should be a simple task yet it's proving to be impossible right about now.

As always, Thank you once again for your time.

Mikrotik, all ports are capable of routing your wan, very very flexible :p - I really don't think it's my router as I cannot see anything inside of the wan settings besides basic info as attached.

How is your wan being dialed out on your router? PPPoE or DHCP ?
