Damn that's fast, 1Gbps you must blink and a download is complete
... and 99% of the time it's only used for streaming. I have four smart TV's (no DSTV).

Anyway, I'm watching this thread because my brother in law constantly comes to my house to download stuff. I want him to get his own line. Do you guys know when Mandalay will be done?

When I lived in my previous house I could only get 4 mbps ADSL and I constantly complained that I want a faster line.

I now have a 1 Gbps fibre line and I don't know WTF to download. Last month I didn't even use 200 Gigs

I have a feeling you'll be the same boat after a few months
ill be live streaming games and designing discord bots to host and web development courses in video format , i have alot of things i want to do , i dont think i'll get bored

Getting the second line installed tomorrow, would a Mikrotik RouterBOARD 2011UiAS-RM be a good choice if I'm gonna go the load balance or load bonding route? Wanna try and get 40/20 use it after midnight when everyone's sleeping, for updates and downloads...
Most definitely, the RB2011 (which was released about 6/7 years ago) doesn't have the best CPU but for your speed requirements it should be capable of doing what you need it to do.

PS note: The more config you add to MT routers or inefficient config, the device will suffer which in effect won't give you the actual fibre line throughput.

Hi guys. So my friend has a Mikrotik RB750 router which he used as a bridge on his adsl line. His no longer using it as he moved and is using lte. Will this router work as a bridge on Mitchells Fibre's router? thanks

It definitely can, as long as you are aware that it is Ethernet only.
