Yeah, the rate they moving I feel this is a 2020 thing. Crap part is I want to cancel Telkom and now I have no timeline to be certain of. This 30 day notice bull such a damper. If I could be certain Zone live times I can make a more educated guess.

I've put in my cancellation request already, and that should terminate my service with Telkom mid Jan, so I'm hoping they ready before then so I don't have to get an overlap package from whoever has pre-paid options, just to avoid the money wasting, especially in Jan... you know how long that month is.

Yip but no one seems to want to confirm this...and Vuma has also come out saying they cant dictate pricing that is up to the ISP's to do.

I was told so by more than one person. If it goes live this years its a bonus. It might go live but i think installs will only happen next year.

Mitchell's Fibre have been working really fast to install this fibre, I don't think we sometimes realise how lucky we are. I would expect Zone 4 to go live this month still based on previous zones

Indeed, people don't realise the scope and civil work that had to be done. I mean 2-4 months to go from NOTHING to INSTALLING your line. Unheard of in any area!

My sister lives in Sun Valley and they've been working there for almost a year and they just completed the last bits of the area now.

Yeah I remember driving around those parts of the world around end last year when I noticed they started construction. And I was saying "Dam when are we gonna get fibre!"... And look at us now

Saw the guys again in Berlin Square testing the fibre speed today. I spoke to one of the MF Reps walking around they saying we are set to go live by Friday 13th.
