I live in Libanon Estate in Kameeldoring street. They finished the fibre all the way up to the wall box of my unit. Got thousands of ISP's trying to sell me fibre.
I accepted Afrihost and C Fibre quotes and told them first come first serve to who ever can get the installation done.
6 weeks later I am still fibre-less and Vumatell Installation team is ignoring my mails and ISP's trying to get an ETA on the installion at my premises.
Vumatel website shows area is live , ISP says vumatell say it's not.
Looks like 1 big confusion, which is creating a headache.
Let me know if any of you manages to book an installion, I'd like that guys number to hook me up
So another 3 weeks almost passed. I went to Vuma's HQ on the 28th of July. Spoke to the guy in charge of my area there. Goes by the name of Sheldon. He said that fibre link broke just outside my complex but that they were attending to it that day and Vuma will contact me the following monday for installation dates. Popped a casual helopeter complaint last week Thursday and was phoned almost immediately by a guy called Ricardo , who is in charge of the installation team. Said he will look into the holdup and get back to me... no surprise he hasn't phoned me back yet.
