Anyone hear anything from Vumatel in respect of installations yet?

Contacted Vumatel via Facebook to find out when they are starting installations.

Waiting for a reply....

I contacted my chosen ISP as well to see if they could hurry Vuma up from their side as well, let us know what vuma says - I will do the same if i get any feedback.

Just got a response from Vumatel on Facebook.

"We are not scheduling in your area yet. As soon as we do, I will make sure that the schedulers contact you"

I guess the wait continues. Seems like they dont have enough staff to deal with the demands.

I see someone on the telegram group has an installation date of the 22nd.

Me neither- in fact theres a few people on the group that have now been getting installation dates, I pre ordered months ago....LOL - still waiting.

So after waiting for a response all Friday and not getting a reply, I decided to give Vuma a call this morning.
I was then told by the Johannesburg Agent after she contacted the Cape Town guys that they will contact me today to schedule. These guys are starting to make telkom look good. At least Telkom will lie to you to make you feel better.

Its a little aggravating I must be honest. But hey, what can you do. If I hear nothing from them today I will phone them too.

That being said I have emailed them twice since last week monday without a reply either.

I will call them again tomorrow if I dont get a call today. They will eventually get tired of me. It's quite shocking though how you have to beg companies to take your money.

That's exactly why I've decided to wait a while until things have settled. Reading up on all Vuma's lack of service delivery, I don't think I'll be able to handle all that stress

LOL - I decided to call them, I held on while the phone rang and rang and rang and rang............gave up.
