A contact told me end March, early April.

Vuma phoned me last week to get update on approval from complex. Apparently within the next two months.

Our complex is approved but now they are waiting for the City of Cape Town Council to approve and give the go ahead

Did you not receive the flyer in the mailbox earlier this year also touting free installation?
Perhaps show them, which might convince them otherwise

Edit: Sorry I misread, it doesn't mention a free installation anywhere, only that they waive the setup/activation fee

Oh by the way, after I basically said I felt a bit shafted by the vox sales agent who had already left them by then, and it sounds like he may have been an issue, they waived the setup fee. I paid the 1000 to vox but havent paid Vuma anything. Im actually quite happy about that.

Finally. They were knocking on neighbours doors and informing them that trenching will begin in the next 3 weeks

I spoke to the Vuma guys who were parked down at the corner of Princessvlei and Leo roads this morning. They confirmed that they will be starting the build within the next few weeks. But they seem to be saying that they will only be doing the Southfield area from the M5 down to Princessvlei initially.

Im also in Fairways. A rep from Supersonic called me this morning to say that Vumatel is active in the area. However no trenches have been dug yet. I have out in a pre order with VOX. Any idea how long we would have to wait
