Can you please share how you got access to Vuma's backend interface? Thanks.
I didn't obtain access in any special way really. Vuma expose mapping data via a KML file they dynamically generate for their overlays, I just imported the KML into Google Earth to view.
Apologies for bugging you, but can you please share exactly how you did that?
What package have you guys taken?
20/2 does the trick for most HD streaming.
Don't recall seeing an ISP on Vuma doing 10mbps. If you're looking to do streaming in decent quality without buffering you might want to look at 20mbps. RocketNet is R700. I'm paying slightly less with Accelerit.I have been following the Kensington Vuma installation on social media for months and was happy that I was covered. Been wondering when they'd go live.
Only yesterday I saw a few lines going to residencies.
[TL/DR] section right at the bottom***
I went through the ISPs available and the list is so long! I think a 4Meg line would be ok. I was once on 2Mbps ADSL and whenever it worked, it served most of my purposes. Not sure how much data I will need but I have the Cell C 200GB and it's been 4 months now - still 90GB remaining. I suppose things will change when I'm on fibre? BTW I take this SIM with me everywhere.

Any thoughts on:
-Afrihost 100GB 4Mbps at R577p/m?
-RSA Web offers 10Mbps uncapped at R655 p/m, but I'm confused because nobody else offers a 10Meg line. They all list 4, 20, 100 and above. Is 10Mbps available in Kensington?
-Cool Ideas: 4Mbps R609 p/m uncapped

If you're covered on Vuma's portal that's good enough, no need to navigate through Accelerits archaic looking website. Order gets placed on Vuma's website. Only once installation is done, then only will your ISP contact you to schedule delivery of router. That takes another 5 days. That sounds amazing. I'm on the Accelerit website and their map seems a bit broken. I see purple lines that don't make sense to me. I'm obviously covered for fibre. Also no pricing and it stays on the map rather than offer me prices and the opportunity to sign up, like the other websites did. This one is stuck on "Internet Coverage Search".
I would be happy to pay R700 or so for a 20Meg line (which is much closer to what my Cell C SIM does at day time). I just thought that my budget would restrict me to slower options with less data.
