How do we keep the same speed and rather get the cheaper price?

Upgrades also qualify.

Afrihost clients can submit the upgrades in clientzone.

Downgrades will not get the speed boost should you choose to downgrade during the promotional period.

Edit: Corrected the info.

Also, are they dropping the line rental price to their partners, or are they expecting ISPs to just sell 50mbit of bandwidth at 20mbit prices?

I'm confused. Vuma is the back bone so unless the ISP's also allow it, how does this work?

This is my problem. I didn't get much in my upgrade from 20/20 to 50/50 as we never need that much bandwidth.
So now I'd rather save R150 than be put up to 100/100

Its probably Mweb thats being sh1tty about it as they offer cheaper packages but looks like I'm not allowed to downgrade.

That's the neat part, you don't. They're hoping people get used to the higher speed and upgrade their packages once the promo end.
Yeah, they did the same with Cool ideas with MFN. Pushed everyone from 50mbps to 100mbps but after the last downgrade date of the month. Had to use the upgraded speed for a month as a result.

Downgraded that sucker back down to 50mbps as soon as I can and saved R200 per month.

Vumatel will upgrade the base line speed. If ISPs choose not to offer the speed increase they can essentially cap the speeds to the current line speeds if they have the hardware to do so.

I'm with Afrihost on 200 up and down, will I get 400 up and down for July and August?
