Have had a few arguments with idiots who are blaming Vumatel for all the issues...

It's a waste of time though, we went through this exercise in Alberton, and get the required number of sign-ups and then Vumatel still dropped us.

Nah, they are already working and busy, just some folks are being really whiny. But also we had issue with local construction mafia and I wonder if the settlement wasn't allowing some of those teams to do the work because the complaints have escalated dramaticly since they resumed and it seems very unlike the Vuma installs prior.

If they are currently trenching my verge, how long till the actual fibre is up and running so I can apply to my isp? Any ideas?

The guy I spoke to said 6 weeks and that was a week before the stoppage.

Takes 30 days to get rid of telkom. I'll use LTE if I have to.
