I don't have a date as yet as I also asked about Moseley on a Vumatel Whatsapp group. They said they are trying for December but wont give dates in case they miss them. So might be December or only in Jan 2019. Was so looking forward to good internet over December break.

Me too! I contacted the vumatel area rep and they said hopefully by mid December. I see there is lots of activity at the roadside cabinet on Bartlette road. so hopefully they are done soon.

They not making promises because the people keep complaining when they don't meet them. I assume the one on Bartlett is for Farningham Ridge + Hattons since they said its live this week.

I can't believe that folk have been complaining so bitterly about Vumatel missing a couple of dates. People have put up with Telkom for so long. Surely another month or 2 isn't going to kill anyone?!

I agree with you. All they do is complain.
I have a strong feeling some of them work for a telkom reseller. It's really odd to find someone talking good about Telkom

Where do you check that it is live? Vumatel site?

Went and checked directly on Vuma's coverage site and the above areas have not been marked as live yet? So not sure if Vuma will start the install into the houses yet???

The website usually isn't updated instantly. As long as the preorder is through, they will contact you

I have recently purchased a property in this area - Limpus Rd, directly behind Sarnia Primary, and knowing Vumatel is active in this area, I stumbled across this thread trying to find out when fibre will be lit in my street. I have a grey Vumatel box on my boundary wall (but no pigtail inside) and there is even a kind of manhole on my verge. I have pre-ordered via Vumatels site - they merely messaged back to say either them or Cool Ideas will be in contact shortly to schedule an installation.

Has anyone an idea when fibre is scheduled to be lit on this street? I was hoping to have internet up and running before Christmas(wishful thinking maybe)

How do I get onto the Whatsapp group mentioned earlier in the thread?
