More than happy with my 1Gb synchronous for now. 10Gb is overkill.

We're waiting on commercials from Vumatel, then all will be revealed...

The highest packages available now is 1Gbps - most ISP's charge R1499 for 1Gbps/100 and it would be interesting to see what the price of the 10Gbps service is and if it is 10Gbps/10Gbps or 10Gbps/1Gbps - probably R10 000.00 per month as Vuma is the most expensive FNO there is.

...precisely the reason why I can't pull the trigger on getting rid of Frogfoot!

I'm on Vumatel 1gbit... i'll be willing to try out 10Gbit.

My Wifi is capable... just my Router that is limited to 1gbit.

I do have a Wifi6 AX Router and setup. Archer AX11000

I doubt you have a device with a 4x4 MU-MIMO, 2x2 tops theoretically you will see 2.1Gbps, real-world is probably 1.2-1.5Gbps max if you take all 160MHz of bandwidth on 5GHz, 80MHz (or auto) should probs be around 800-1Gbps.

10Gbps is overkill for you, and is why:

I find the pricing of R10k doubtful as no one will ever manage to saturate it, it will be charged at something like what they think 2.5Gbps will be, so I would guess around the R3k mark (and again, for most ISP that will be the same whether you are on 100Mbps or 10Gbps since most servers on the other end can't do the speed, the ISP just has to be able to handle the burst for a few seconds, and you will most likely see a clause of 10Gbps local, 100Mbps international with bursting above 100Mbps possible which will be fine 90% of the time to get to the 1-10Gbps).
