Again, anybody foolish enough to compare the South African rugby fan culture to the football one has no freaking clue what they are talking about in terms of local football!!!! My advice to the arm chair critics, stick to ruby and its "peaceful" ambiance. This is football, the game of the working classes.
As mentioned earlier, there is no reason why broadcasters cannot compromise with people at the stadiums. Foreigners have been the biggest adopters of the vuvuzela. they aren't chanting in stadiums so what exactly is it that you want to hear? Do you want to force foreigners from not embracing the South African way and stick to what they do at home? Did you see the dutch supporters on the news yesterday? Did you see the Italian supporters yesterday? In other words, they shouldn't be themselves, they should put on a show for all the people in their living rooms? Give me a ****ing break!!!
