Also that 12 o clock vuvuzela thing before the WC. That was amazing and most people I think loved it.
Let us agree to disagree but I respect your opinion.
But, the stadium IS your back lawn.
You have as much right to be at the stadium as he does, and you also have the right to not be deafened.
I see non vuvu users giving way to the vuvu users so that they may enjoy themselves, but absolutely nothing is being given by the vuvu users to make life better for the non vuvu users.
Unequal, unfair and complete bull.

Nobody bought us our vuvuzelas so buy your own bloody earplugs!
Similarily, it's always been part of MY culture to hear the commentary and cheer for the team I am supporting.Tune into the game. Look how many Slovaks are armed with Vuvus. <snide removed>.Everyone is entitled to attend stadiums, no one person has the right to prohibit others from attending, but people of different fan cultures and sport codes really have no business dictating to others what should or shouldnt be part of their games when it has been a part of their game for decades.
?If you can't hear the commentary on your TV you're doing it wrong.![]()
Please, South Africa, make the trumpets stop. Give us a song, instead.

Vuvu users are taking away my right to MY traditional cultural enjoyment of the game.
You're at the stadium and you can hear the commentary and announcements through the din?lol i agree i can hear the commentary just perfect!

Erm, why exactly am I NOT entitled to enjoy the world cup?For ****s sakes guy this is South African football culture. Should they abandon it because you decided to attend a world cup footie match?
Erm, why exactly am I NOT entitled to enjoy the world cup?
Just because is is the culture of 90% of South Africans AND now also 20% of international guests are also doing it?
Surely, even though all this is true, I am still entitled to enjoy the game at the stadium without being submitted to that noise.
Just so we're clear here. Why on earth would you go to a stadium if you dont want to be subjected to noise? I just do not understand the retreaded logic behind this. I know somebody who has only recently started watching and attending football games wont understand this, but the vuvu is part and parcel of the SA game. Get use to it bud. That, or you can revel in misery for the next few weeks.
