VW Polo 2004 clutch and rear main seal

Hi

Need some advice please. Ive been told by my mechanic that i should replace my clutch and the rear main seal as well.

i can feel the first gear catching on take off when accelerating as well as close to switching off when holding brakes and releasing on an incline. Found no oil leak and no warning light coming.

It could be leaking on the inside. Sounds like your mechanic is right.
