hi guys,

my wife recently, a month or so, returned from Germany for work.. We will be travelling for holiday in a month and she somewhere heard or read that she has to wait 3 months before leaving the country again..

Is there a waiting period before you can leave the country again after returning..? I am sure there is not, bit my wife wants to be 110% sure..

Nope, if that was the case nobody would be able to do business.

Section 21.2 of the Constitution gives "Everyone the right to leave the Republic"

I suggest challenging anyone saying different to provide proof.

The only 3 month period restriction I know of is the other way around and applies to foreigners - if you spend more than 3 months in a year here you can be considered a resident liable for tax. Know a couple of HNW individuals who have assets/houses here but are very careful not to spend more than three months in a year in SA.

We returned from an overseas holiday on the 28th of March. My wife will be leaving for the UK for work this evening.
There is no waiting period.

No such requirement that I've ever heard of and at one stage I was traveling out of the country on a monthly basis

There is a rule on the Schengen Visas that you may only be in the Schengen zone for 90 out of every 180 days. So in the last 180 days, you may not be in Europe for more than 90.
Other than that there is no restriction.
