Vodacom currently charge R449-00 for 2gigs and MTN currently charge R399-00 for 1gig, when if ever is this going to change, no-one seems interested in responding to any posts regarding pricing.

I've got my own E220 modem, so it's more like R389 for 2GB on Vodacom 3G. ;)

I have a feeling MTN wouldn't be keen to drop prices on existing contract customers. This is more something that a company like VodaCom seems to do.... giving ALL their customers across the board discounts :(

I remember the days when MTN used to be "The Better Connection" Doesn't take long to figure out why they dont use that as their logo anymore

Is this now the official price or does MTN need to update their site?

The dates listed here say it expires on the 18th June - they are quick to rake in the money but slow to give their loyal customers quick response.

I just purchased my 2Gig bundle from Vodacom at R389-00, lost revenue to MTN, shouldn't trouble them though with R40bn in revenue, but start adding up the R389-00's and it will add up to something substantial.

The MTN prices could do with an urgent update. But from my side their data service really sucks - I'm getting one bar of HSDPA or 5 bars og GPRS neither of which allows me to log in to Yahoo messenger or update my antivirus.

I am paying R399 for the 1gb bundle on a MyChoice TopUp75 and its listed on the https://www.mtnactive.co.za/mtnsc as just that.
My bill has increased substantially on my voice contract (but I think I am enjoying the 2gb limit)
How do I confirm that I am on 2gb and the system does'nt display this or how , Pitbull , would you be so kind as to elaborate on this matter for me?
Let me know if you want me to PM you my datacard number since I have a voice contract with that 1gb bundle.

AFAIK, the 2GB for R399 special is continuing until further notice.
