Out of interest has anyone actually just walked into Sentech's offices or call center and asked them face-to-face what is going on?

Don't know if I'm up for it, got my modem in the exact right place, on top of my cupboard, and pointed in the exact direction to get me 2 orange lights of signal. I cannot risk losing my 12% signal by taking my modem to Sentech.

Telkom who?

Take a pencil and mark the 'footprint' of the modem. That way when you get back you can put the modem in precisely the same spot... ;)

Well maybe 200 disgruntled USERS arriving at the SAME TIME..... to discusss with them the problem will ignite some more evasive actions and promises

Would just love to know how they handle it!!!!

Cancellation is your personal choice

they will make it easier for you to cancel rather than solve your problem. Effectively you will then go away and shut up (and stop complaining). Apparently this is worth more to them than you being a happy customer. Think of the web sites and how the handled that..

And then I can have all the bandwidth to myself....lets see with a contention ratio of 1 that is 128/1=128. Please I beg you go, hand in your modems[:D]

one wonders what they would do with the leftover bandwidth. they will need to maintain their profit margins..

I personally think a walk in would have a huge impact on Sentech. One hundred or so disgruntled users walking in to the building and demanding refunds or answers is the kind of thing that gets the media drooling.
