So for R13999 I am seriously considering selling my Macbook (last white unibody one) and getting this. . . seems like a good time to buy the old MBP.
The only problem with laptops that are 3years + old is the battery will have reached the end of it's lifetime. I assume it's the same for macbooks...

Would an older macbook pro (2010, 2011) be suitable for doing Java development.
