Go to this site: http://www.helpmepeter.co.za

Even the name is a play on the Hello Peter site!!! (Hoping to gain from those google searches)

This guy up until last year August was a sales manager for a little company that he brought to the brink of ruin. Before that he sold education products in West African countries. Before that I believe he originally studied to be a dominee but didn't quite make it.

In August last year he was fired, and took a position with his wife's company as "sales manager" . He is still in this position , but is using these same company premises to operate what he calls his "practise" from.

You see he has re-invented himself as a "Life Coach" He is offering serious treatment and is not trained . he has maybe done a few little courses and he is offering timeline therapy, NLP and hypnosis. His little affiliations are all American and can be bought over the web.

This new persona was floated about two months ago

All his client recomendation letters from people on his site praising him, are from colleagues, subordinates and / or friends and he has actually admitted this.

Try contacting him and asking for details about his experience in being qualified to do what he does and / or ask for proof of his training and certificates and see what a run around you get ......

His site itself is a composit of messages taken from people like Wayne Dyer, Brian Tracy etc etc. and yet he is making a lot of money .

It is a con and yes I know him and yes I have used a pseudonym even on this forum cos he knows me and he is a very vindictive man.

I am outraged cos I know he is a con artist. It just gals me that he is using peoples problems and emotions to make money out of them. This is not right!!

He has also been reported to SARS and to the health professionals council etc, so hopefully justice will take it's course.

But I actually just wanted to show people on the forum just how easy it is to reel people in and con them!!!

he is so charming and sooooo genuine and soooo very believable it is scary. I have to admit it is hard to catch him off balance because he is an expert at fielding words and turning things round to suit himself

It's like a mute shrink without a prescription pad, combined with a self taught psychologist whose own life is a shambles mixed in with a personal trainer who stands around while you hoist boxes in your junk filled garage while cheerleading you like Tony Robbins while dancing, high fiveing and clapping like Richard Simmons.

The bad ones. The good ones are something like lifehacker.

Bah, this is like that post where the con artist pretends to be his own enemy so that he can get free marketing out of the exercise.
And then disappears after BS 2 posts, but has increased his google search rating simply by having this post in this forum.

mmh no I am not a con and have been on the forum for a long time. I was actually posting from the office which I have since left and have now logged on from home! Although I am going out again in just over half an hour. I don't sit at a desk all day or night so my logging into the forum is sporadic at best.

Generally speaking I would mind my own business, but as said originally am outraged that in an economic climate like this he will con people who can ill afford it financially or psychologically out of their hard earned money.

Umm I cannot reveal how he conned me, as it would give him clues as to who I am and I have had enough of cars driving past my yard, phone calls and emails from strangers etc.

Right now I could be anyone of a number of people he has ripped off and conned who have seen through him, so I am safe in my anonimity thank you very much

Well, without knowing how he conned you, nobody here can help. The website is pretty well laid out and seems above board.

My guess is that you didn't get the desired results and didn't read the "no money back" clause in the fine print.

'Life Coaching' seems to be the new fashion. Lots of sites popping up about it and it get mentioned on Cape Talk at least once a week these days.

Well as soon as people tighten their belts it will be about as fashionable as a pair of bell bottom jeans and an afro haircut.

Hhhhmmmmmm so are you maybe thinking this is a case of sour grapes/ lack of customer satisfation? No not at all and I didn't post this here for any help. What happened to me has passed, and can't be undone. Burnt my fingers, hard lessons learned etc.

But when a friend sent me this URL a couple of days ago, it just seemed incredulous to me that this man can move onto his next game and victims with no qualms at all! And yes, I was angry.

I also do not expect anyone here to do anything with or from this information. He has left a trail behind himself and a very tangled web of lies and deceit and the proper authorities will sort him out in due course.

Again I reiterate, I just wanted to share with people here how something so false can be considered so plausible, and your comment about the site being pretty well laid out and above board proves a point. We as human beings are far too ready to trust and believe in others at face value.
