Poll needs another choice. "I already cancelled and left for greener grass I am now happy"

Well to be honest MWEB's "new way of doing it" is a joke
MWEB use to say that if you do not take steps to bypass their shaping then you will be fine.
I never did anything to bypass shaping and now even though I am using far less than usual I have reached the CAP

I think they will be costing themselves allot of clients

Normal traffic is unthrottled but torrents are throttled.

But MWEB will just say, you shouldn't be downloading torrents, so I don't really have a legitimate reason to pissed off at them.

You have used 51.19 GB so far this month.
Last Session: 19 September, 2013, 00:09:22
Connection status: Unthrottled

On a 1 Meg account - so 50GB doesn't seem to be it. I have downloaded 20Gigs in the last two days from the PSN store.

78Gb as at 19 Sep. Throttled.
Want to cancel. State of the dilemna:-

1. Debating whether this simply a short term tactic or will it be long term. Bound to have fallout/ accounts cancelled in Sep/Oct. This should also mean freeing up more bandwidth for the remaining users right? Kinda like using the officei internet early morning or evening. Less bandwidth intensive users means faster speeds.
The fallout customrs moving to others, mainly afrihost from my scan of thisvthread, means they might be overburdened and repeat their old throttling tactics. Or another alternative isp gets overburdened and they introduce throttling and we just moved into a new problem boat.

2. F you mofos mweb. Hellooo ..... ok so who do I go to now?

Im sure theres a thread here with alternatives. Any suggestions would be welcome though

Sarandos was referring to the low broadband caps in place at Canadian ISPs like Bell and Shaw, which force their customers to pay more if they exceed monthly caps that can start at just 15 GB. Netflix has sharply criticized broadband pricing in Canada before, with CEO Reed Hastings calling caps and overage fees like these “grossly overpriced.”

Don't feel too bad guys :D

Seems like a sliding window or something like that. Or maybe they have a 100Gig limit for the month on the 1Mbps account, but they give it to you at 100Gigs/31*How far you are in the month?
